Stacey Walters-Emch is the director of the studio. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education and Dance from Youngstown State University. Stacey was a professional cheerleader for the Youngstown Pride and a college cheerleader at YSU, head majorette for both Niles McKinley and YSU, and the founder and captain of the YSU Basketball Dance Team.
Currently she is the Niles McKinley Majorette/Feature Twirler Advisor and the YSU Penguinette Dance Team Coach. In the past, Stacey has been advisor to Girard High School Majorettes, Howland Junior High School Cheerleaders, West Minster College Dance Team, Niles Basketball Dance Team and the Youngstown State Basketball Dance Team.
She is affiliated with the Professional Dance Teaches Association and National Baton Twirling Association. Stacey is a certified teacher, judge, and/or coach with United States Twirling Association, Amateur Athletic Union, Twirlers Unlimited, and Cecchetti Council of America (Ballet). Other training includes: Attending Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School in Kent, Ohio, Point Park College Summer Training Classes in Pittsburg, Dance Educators Teachers Training in Las Vegas, and classes at the Edge Dance Studio in Los Angeles, California.
